Support to Charities and Other Voluntary Organisations
The Lord-Lieutenant, Vice Lord-Lieutenant and Deputy Lieutenants accept suitable positions on committees of charity and volunteer organisations eg. Vice President. They establish links with groups including: Scouts; Guides; St John Ambulance; Police Cadets etc. They often accept patronages of local charities, groups etc.
